摘要
High strength structural bolts developed for use with high strength steels with tensile strengths over 125 kg/mm**2 are susceptible to in-service delayed fracture under static loading. Corrective measures taken to minimize the chance of failure have been summarized with emphasis on a tightened inspection plan.
