摘要
Between care and education: historical reflections on early childhood education for children without family support. Throughout history, education and care of young children were confused in the formulation and execution of public policies. This essay, based on literature theme, aims to discuss the relationship between the concepts of education and care, in a historical perspective on the care of young children, especially those without family support. The confusion between the concepts of education and care is still perceived in everyday practices of child care with the influence of historical legacy, political and economic about the society in which this assistance is inserted. In our country educational practices are often confused with practices of care in relation to the care of young children without family support.
