Study on statistical graphics in digital textbooks of Spanish primary education

摘要
In this paper, the results of a study on the statistics graphs present in digital textbooks for Primary Education in Andalusia are described. The methodology implemented is qualitative, of descriptive character, through content analysis. This investigation allows obtaining information about the types of graphics used on different educational levels, and about the types of activities developed by the students. On the other hand, this study allows assessing the didactical suitability of this educational resource on this topic. The results show that, bar graphs as well as activities to read, calculate and construct, are the most used; in addition, the epistemic, and cognitive suitability result adequate.
