摘要
The use of anchor rods in geoengineering works is widely spread by time. The design of the anchor foundation (fixed length or anchor foundation) is, despite the apparent simplicity, the most crucial stage in the entire system design process. The forecast difficulties can be attributed to the complexity of the behavior of the anchor foundation against the pull-out failure, that currently sees no reliable analytical models; moreover, the codes and the national and international design manuals rarely provide a common basis for such design. this analytical uncertainty, most of the codes and design standards (eg.: EC 7, NTC 2008, SIA 267, etc.) compensate prescribing experimental field tests on pilot anchors, in order to determine the most likely ultimate pull-out resistance under the specific design conditions. This article aims to present a discussion on the main analytical methods and / or empirical analysis of foundation geotechnical design, identifying areas of application, advantages and limitations. Attention is focused on anchoring foundations traditionally performed, therefore without particular improvement measures introduced by the most recent and specific technologies.
