摘要：
A new test method for evaluating chemical resistance in polymers (thermoplastics, thermosets including fiber-reinforced plastics, and elastomers) is compared to existing standard test methods. The major advantage of this new multiple-observation method is that more reliable predictions of performance can be made in shorter test times. Case histories illustrate how the new test method has been used to evaluate polymers in chemical service.
