摘要
Behavior of Ru and Pd under conditions of electrochemical oxidative dissolution in HNO3 with Ag(II) was studied. Finely divided Ru metal can be readily oxidized and distilled off as RuO4, with subsequent absorption in an appropriate solvent, within 3 6 h. The process rate is limited by the RuO4 transport through the solution/gas interface and can be controlled by varying the air flow rate through the system. Anhydrous RuO2 is not oxidized under these conditions. The possibility of formation of PdO2 center dot xH(2)O in oxidation of Pd(II) with Ag(II) was demonstrated.
