摘要
We study in this article the phonosymbolism of the vowel a in the grammatical morphemes of Spanish language. The phoneme a, because of its articulatory and acoustic characteristics, can remind the idea of bigness and of everything that can he related to this one: the increasing, the distance, the duration, the intensity, etc. We show that those ideas are present in a large number of Spanish grammatical morphemes which contain the vowel a.
