摘要
We describe and address the physical, hydrological and biological characteristics of 'Lagunas de Chacahua National Park' (lchnp) with the aim to explore the current perspectives at 75 years of being declared National park creation. The Park has been a center of attraction for naturalists and biologists for many decades; however, there are few biological studies on the matter. Considering this situation, the investigation of biological diversity of lchnp is a scientific and conservative challenge that can be achieved only through long-term studies with ecological indicators. Finally, the imperative task in the park will be the creation of biological corridors that will help to reduce the fragmentation as well as the implementation of management alternatives and sustainable use.
