摘要
A basically new contactless pneumatic method is proposed for determining the surface tension of a liquid by measuring the critical gas-jet incidence angle at which auto-oscillations arise in a ''gas-jet - liquid'' system. The results of experimental studies are presented. The statistical dependence of the gas-jet critical angle of incidence on surface tension and metrological characteristics of the method of measurement and its implementing device are determined. The method can be applied to control measurements of different liquid media under both laboratory and industrial conditions.
