摘要
The Performance of a synchronous random access code division multiple access (RACDMA) system is investigated. Kautz-Singleton (KS) disjunctive codes are used to facilitate simultaneous transmission of information over the multiple access OR-channel. It is assumed that the total number of codewords transmitted by the active users is a binomially distributed random variable. Observing that KS disjunctive codes and maximum distance seperable frequency hopping sequences are mathematically equivalent, previously derived codeword error probabilities for both systems are used to derive codeword error probabilities for the RACDMA system. The trade-off between delay, information rate, and codeword error probability are briefly indicated.
