摘要：
In this paper, a previously reported approximate elastic-plastic method of analysis is applied to regular steel sway frames with semi-rigid connections. A number of model frames with different connection characteristics have been tested in the laboratory and are compared with calculated results. It is concluded that the simple approximate-analysis approach successfully predicts the load-carrying capacity of sway frames with semi-rigid connections without resorting to complex analysis techniques. © 1990.
