摘要
The undergraduate students are the future young engineers who need a strong background in their area of interest to handle real-life problems. This paper reports a unique educational method in teaching power system harmonic-related problems in the undergraduate power curriculum. The harmonic-related problems are included in several undergraduate courses such as: Power System Analysis, Electric Machines, Electric Power Distribution System Engineering, Power System Protection, and Power Electronics. The facilities in the power laboratory at Clemson University enhance the methods of teaching the harmonic-related problems. One of the important facilities consists mainly of a computer-based three-phase harmonic generator, a data acquisition system to process the data digitally, and a computer control system to control the harmonic levels. A brief summary and examples in the teaching procedure of such an important subject are included. © 1990 IEEE
