摘要：

A provisional phylogenetic systematization, based on the females only, is presented for the Thaumatoxeninae. A key to the species is provided. Palpiclavina kistneri Disney sp. nov. is described from a series of females from Southeast Asia, and its presumed male from a series from the Philippines. The male of P. tonkinensis Silvestri is described. Thaumatoxena traghardhi Schmitz is synonymized with T. andreinii Silvestri, and T. schoutedeni Schmitz and T. sudanica Schmitz are synonymized with T. grassei Schmitz. Thaumatoxena nudistriga Disney sp. nov. is described from South Africa and T. unispina Disney sp. nov. from Malawi and Zimbabwe. The termite host records are summarized for each species.
