摘要
In a study of 125 mothers, parental stress was associated with lower role satisfaction and maternal self‐esteem and with higher psychological and somatic symptomatology for those mothers with less social support. In addition, more highly educated mothers were found to be less affected by parental stress. Theoretical and policy implications of the findings are discussed. 1990 American Orthopsychiatric Association
