Enthalpies of dilution at T = 298.15 K of binary aqueous solutions of the amino acids L-threonine and L-asparagine have been determined using flow microcalorimetry. The results obtained were used to derive the enthalpic interaction coefficients that characterize pairwise interactions in solution. These interaction coefficients are compared with those for some other amino acids. © 1994 Academic Press Ltd.
