摘要
Different aspects of enhancing the efficiency in using the ''Almaz'', ERS-1, and ''Landsat-TM'' satellite data for the documentation of tundra ecosystems are discussed. Program modules for preprocessing ''Almaz'' satellite data were developed, which make it possible to control the spatial resolution value, as well as the shape of the synthesized directivity diagram (SDD), and to suppress the speckle noise with the help of a set of adaptive filters. Different systems for classification of the earth surface are proposed, based on the data on the a priori known types of tundra vegetation and surface, and the efficiency of applying these systems in comprehensive treatment of terrestrial and satellite data is estimated. The results of classification of tundra ecosystems are presented.
