摘要
Adoption scenarios of information systems in organizations not necessarily means innovation processes in services. It is necessary that the characteristics of the adopted systems and the action forms and use of these artifacts, effectively manage any innovation in the involved process. Thinking about it, the purpose of this paper is a theoretical essay using a conceptual research model that represents how the adoption of an information system can generate an innovation in service to organizations according to the typologies explained by Sundbo and Gallouj (1998). The used discussions, indicates that information systems brings innovation aspects when they generate large volumes of current data, reliable and consistent, easy to use and affordable, providing agility, communication, data distribution and integration with other systems, which help in decision-making and reduce costs, which are relevant, strategic value, comprehensive and interacting with developers and users. Finally, they can generate product innovation, process innovation, management innovation, market innovation and innovation contingency.
