ABSCISIC-ACID CONTENT AND DEFENSE REACTIONS IN CALLUS-CULTURES OF POPLAR

摘要
Callus cultures of Populus x euramericana cv. 'NL-B-132' derived from stem and leaf tissue were compared for their content of abscisic acid and defense reactions against the basidiomycete Phaeolus schweinitzii. The callus from stems showed higher ABA-contents and a more pronounced defense reaction in comparison with leaf callus.
