摘要：
The annual growth rates for thermoplastic elastomers (excluding thermoplastic polyurethanes) are about 6.5%/a, which is higher than the expected growth rate for covalently crosslinked rubbers. However, owing to their limited resistance to heat deformation thermoplastic elastomers are only partially suitable for replacing rubber elastomers. Their range of uses is being increased through substitution in place of metals, plastics, glass, leather, adhesives etc. and as modification agents. As tailored materials thermoplastic elastomers are in a state of a rapid growth.
