LOZA QUEBRADA FROM THE DOME OF SAN ISIDORO'S CHAPEL. CATHEDRAL OF SEVILLE

Recovered from the filling of the vaults of the chapel of San Isidoro of the Cathedral of Seville, and deposited in the stores of the cathedral, 42 ceramic elements of defective manufacture are presented. A total of 8 types that could be dated to the first decades of the 16th century AD, when the chapel was built, were documented. In this article additional information is provided and complements previous works on pottery used for the filling of vaults, pottery assemblages of great archaeological value associating precise chronological data with the typology and production places of the ceramic.
