摘要
A review of existing products and applied patents for microwavable ice cream is here reported. Advanced technology for controlled differential heating, through microwave domestic ovens, of multi component ice cream and frozen desserts is briefly described. The importance of selected ingredients for formulation and engineered packaging material in order to achieve a differentiate, predictable temperature at the end of the microwave heating period is discussed and underlined.
