QUANTUM EFFECTS IN A MESOSCOPIC CIRCUIT

摘要
On the basis of the equation of motion for a RLC circuit with source, the energy fluctuation of the circuit is discussed by using the fluctuation-dissipation theorem. It is found that the fluctuation is a quantum effect at low temperature but becomes a classical thermodynamic effect when the temperature increases. We have quantized the circuit at zero temperature, and obtained the fluctuations of charge and current as well as the uncertainty relation.
