摘要
Celiac disease is an autoimmune enteropathy caused by gluten intolerance. Various extradigestive manifestations may occur in unusual forms of the disease. The cerebellar ataxia is one of those rare events present in 9% of cases [1,2]. It may be a telltale sign of the disease. The mechanism involved remains poorly understood. Gluten free diet is the main therapy and allows the disappearance of neurological symptoms. We report a case of cerebellar ataxia revealing a celiac disease.
