Currently in school education, especially in Geography, is the primary need for the use of various techniques and tools that enable teachers to make learning more interesting for students. Thus, our reflection is guided practical experience, which aimed to put in everyday school practice Race Guidance. Providing students a contact with a sports practice that uses mapping tools, facilitating the direct relationship with certain content of the teaching of Geography. The reflection presented here is justified by the pursuit of everyday teachers in giving subsidies to teaching Geography, especially the cartography. From the methodological point of view the proposal included two distinct parts, but complementary, being: Lectures (Lectures and instrumentalization) and Practice (The race). Thus, it was possible to insert certain content as cardinal points, by use of the compass; spatial location; geographic coordinates, among others; a sports practice that allows the relationship of physical activity with the teaching of Geography.
