摘要
The fractal nature of heterogeneous microporous active carbons is studied. The microporous structures of these materials are characterized in terms of micropore-size distributions that are evaluated from benzene adsorption isotherm data. The log-log plots of these distributions are used to estimate the fractal dimensions of the active carbons studied. The values of the fractal dimension D that lie between 2.3 and 3.0 are correlatable with the average sizes of the micropores.
