摘要：
The status of waste management and decommissioning for Magnox and AGR power stations is reviewed and the costs and liabilities are identified. Proposals for future PWRs' waste and decommissioning strategies are also outlined together with their costs. It is shown that these costs are small contributors to the overall electricity generating cost. The data used are drawn from the work of a joint nuclear industry task force on waste and decommissioning to whose members acknowledgement is made.
