摘要
We have simulated solar spicules using MgII k and H Lyalpha line emissions as radiative cooling mechanism in the chromosphere and low transition region. The radiative transfer is treated by the improved core-saturation method and the effect of partial redistribution on the spicule modelling is examined. The calculations show that the inclusion of line emission greatly improves the time-dependence and the physical behaviour of the spicule model. Partial redistribution may be important for the simulation of realistic line profiles, but its influence on the energetics of the spicule simulation is small.
