Since the 1980's, there has been an ample discussion, which culminated in the Brazilian Education System reform in a curricular and organizational perspective, with the promulgation of LDBEN 9394/96, affecting, in a substantial way, the process of educational background of teachers in all areas of teaching. Starting at the promulgation of the changes in article 33 LDBEN 9394/96, facing Law n. 9475/97, the preparation of teachers for the disciplines Religious Studies and Junior School has been a point of interest, discussion and research all over the country, involving the academic community, the teaching systems and civil society. The present text aims to share the registers of a proposal/action of preparation for the area of knowledge in Religious Studies in development for over a decade at "Universidade Regional de Blumenau, State of Santa Catarina, Brasil". The line drawn signals contributions, challenges and perspectives when discussing religious diversity and graduation of teachers nationwide.
