摘要：
Approach to neural modeling and its links with biomedical sciences is given to bring out the rationale for adopting neural network studies in biomedical computing. Beginning from the basic concept of neural networks, the perceptron and learning algorithms are discussed. Biomedical applications of neural networks particularly to EEG analysis are presented.
