摘要
For separation of various organic -aqueous mixtures and organic-organic mixtures, there are three possible membrane separation technologies, namely, reverse osmosis(RO), pervaporation(PV) and vapor permeation(VP). A theoretical comparison is introduced. Using various membranes experimental data are demonstrated for varieties of such systems. Finally one example method to design a suitable membrane for a particular system is demonstrated.
