摘要：
The localized states of an isolated magnetic impurity situated within a Heisenberg ferromagnetic thin film are studied. A Green function approach is used to evaluate the energies of the "defect modes" and "resonance modes" associated with the impurity as a function of its position relative to the film surfaces. The density of spin-wave states is also calculated for the case of low impurity concentrations.
