摘要
In this article, I intend to carry out a review of the concept of social identity and its implications for music teacher training. In order to do this, I will first explain the concept of "social identity" and its variation, "sound identities", that is part of it. Secondly, its implication for the creation of the "professional identity" of music teachers will be explored. Finally, I will reflect on the consequences that can be drawn for teacher training as a whole. The case of music teachers can explain how a concentration on contents or skills, which are the same for everyone, leads us to a model of teachers very different from that focused on understanding the meaning of the interactions that occur in the classroom. I seek, therefore, to provide data that could be useful for those interested in the training of music teachers, while also addressing a relevant issue for teacher training in general.
