摘要
A new finite element layered model used for beam-column elements in concrete frame structures is developed. Using an automatic incremental/iteration process, the model can account for both geometric and material nonlinearity in concrete frame structures. The model is compared with independent experimental results, and a stable and reliable prediction is obtained. The finite element method forms a basis for the efficient analysis of large reinforced concrete frames.
