摘要：

SiO evolution was generally controlled by the breaking of Si-O bonds but in the range of small alpha (SiO//2) value, the transport of silica also affected the rate. Dissolution of carbon proceeded slowly and its rate varied from 2 multiplied by 10** minus **5 to 5 multiplied by 10** minus **5 mol. m** minus **2. S** minus **1 at 1873 K.
