摘要
In this study, 15 of sample plots (400 m(2)) at which release cuttings were applied in 1990, 1992 and 1999 by Taskopru (Kastamonu) Forest Enterprise, and 5 of control plots for comparing were selected from naturally occured pure scots pine stands for determining the effects of the release cuttings on the stand growth and increment. In spite of moderate grade, the breast height diameter growth showed 1,6 times superiority than control. Reducing of basal area after cutting is closed by the increase of the diameter increment. The average stand height value is bigger in the released plots (9.76 m) than control plots (9.11 m). The volume increment in the released plots show by 2.6 times superiority than control plots. The moderate (%24-26) release cuttings should be applied with 2-3 years intervals.
