摘要
A trial was conducted to test production effects of the GENT test feed mixture used in the Czech Republic and the test mixture called TEST with a formula derived from the mix used at a station at Sempach in Switzerland. The maternal cross combination of the LW x L breeds included 20 individually housed pigs with free choice of feed from 25 to 103 kg live weight; the results of daily weight gains (919 g in GENT and 819 g in TEST) and feed intake per 1 kg weight gain reaching 2.68 kg and 2.79 kg, respectively, were comparable with other trials. The parameter of performance, carcass quality and meat quality showed the results of both groups comparable with the values recorded at the station at Sempach. The portion of lean cuts made 48.56 and 48.74 %, respectively, of the value which is current achieved at Czech test stations. The fattening lasted 92 days with the total consumption of the GENT mix 223 kg. In the conditions of this trial the obtained results of intensive ad libitum fattening aimed at production of meaty slaugter pigs would be economically suitable also for commercial farming conditions. Only the content of intramuscular fat was higher in both groups (2.39 and 2.26 %, resp.) than in pigs kept at the station at Sempach (1.13 to 1.50%) and it almost reached the optimum value of 2.50 %.
