5-beta-D-Ribofuranosyl-3H,5H,7H-pyrimido[4,5-c][1,2]oxazol-6-one, 13, a fixed anti-conformer of N-4-alkoxycytidines was synthesised to investigate its hydrogen-bonding potential.
