摘要
Successive stages in the annealing of an Ni/Ti multilayer at 523 K were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The results appear to indicate diffusion-induced amorphization, although some diffraction phenomena are not understood. An effective diffusion coefficient for the initial stage of the solid state reaction was determined. Initial stress development is ascribed to differences in molar volume between the crystalline and amorphous phases. Continued annealing led to stress relaxation.
