CHILD PSYCHOPATHOLOGY AND PSYCHOANALYSIS - REMAINING A PSYCHOANALYST

The author proposes a new look at the concept of infantile neurosis and the use of both analytic and neuro-psychological studies to combine in a << commutation >> in the theorisation of infantile autism, a new paradigm in the study of development and the subjectivation process. The consequences of analytic and cognitive studies on attachment are examined here. They imply a theory of the genesis of intersubjectivity. The importance of the study of transgenerational destiny is stressed as it features in the life tree, well beyond the functioning of the transmission of the internal model of attachment and the procedures of its mnemic registration. Therapeutic consequences of these new relational approaches are suggested.
