摘要
A new technique for high-speed recoded trinary signed-digit (TSD) arithmetic using optical symbolic substitution is proposed. This technique performs multi-digit carry-free addition and borrow-free subtraction in constant time using only 39% of the minterms required in the most recently reported TSD arithmetic technique.
