摘要
Solid electrolyte oxygen sensors using oxygen-fluorine ion conductor interaction and working near room temperature have been previously studied. An analysis of the physical mechanisms allowing the detection of oxygen makes it possible to understand why these sensors exhibit quick aging and poor dynamic characteristics. A new structure avoiding these drawbacks can be proposed. It uses a very thin sensitive film at the solid electrolyte/working electrode interface. This paper is devoted to the characterization of this new type of electrochemical sensor.
