摘要：
Excitation of Os-189 by the low-energy electron has been found not to be explained by the NEET (Nuclear Excitation by Electron Transition) mechanism. Here, it will be shown by the distorted wave Born approximation that this excitation is caused by the direct reaction between the incident electrons and the nucleus.
