摘要
The article aimed to map and analyse the facilitators and barriers to treatment in the mental health network of Itajuba/MG and its adjacent micro region. The methodology was based on the triangulation of methods, combining quantitative and qualitative research. it was found that the main facilitator to treatment has been the performance of Family Health Strategy The lack of political will, by its means, a clear and more effective intervention of the public health management, was identified as the major barrier to be faced in the micro-region, especially due to lack of organization and planning in the actions towards mental health.
