摘要：
The saw teeth have profiles which can be selected to suit the type of rolled products to be cut; they are hardened by high-frequency heating in an installation supplied with the saw unit. When produced from chromium-vanadium steel, the saws give good lives (70-100 m**2 in terms of total area sawn), and can take a thicker slice during cutting. A 270 mm diameter billet can be cut in 0. 3 s.
