摘要
Advanced topical training of physicians in clinical mycology is carried out at the Chair for Clinical Mycology of the Institute for Continuous Edication of Physicians in St. Petersburg since 1989. A total of 18 cycles for 170 dermatologists were carried out over this period. The curriculum includes pressing problems of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture and prevention of dermatophytoses, candidiasis, chromomycosis, micetoma, etc.; special attention is paid to actinomycosis, whose prevalence is high and the knowledge of physicians about it insufficient. The final examination gives an objective evaluation of the physicians' knowledge.
