A thermal-cycling regime for the hardening of the austenitic-martensitic class of steel 07Kh16N6, which makes it possible to lower the probability that a carbide network will form in its structure, and also to confirm the possibility of non-destructive monitoring for the existence of a carbide network, is determined experimentally.
