摘要：
The mechanism of formation of substituted-6-benzoylamino-7H-pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidines, prepared by treating 1,3-diarylthiobarbituric acid with triethyl orthoformate and hippuric acid in the presence of acetic anhydriode, is reported.
