FEATURES OF THE DEEP STRUCTURE OF KIROVOGRAD ORE BASIN BASED ON SEISMIC DATA

摘要
The maps of the Moho and K-2 surfaces were built with the use of KOSCAD-3D and Surfer software, based on the Moho and K-2 depths along the profiles of deep seismic sounding and converted waves of earthquakes. Methods for statistical processing of data from converted waves of earthquakes and results of seismogeological modeling of the Kirovograd ore basin are presented. New interpretation of seismic data has revealed a correlation between surface structures in the area and Moho surface relief, and local heterogeneities in the Earth's crust. As a result, it is found out that area of the most intensive ore concentration is confined to a deep sublatitudinal trough in Moho relief.
