CHARACTERIZING AND SOLVING OF INDUSTRIAL WEAR PROBLEMS

Wear problems may be very difficult to solve, especially for companies not having profound knowledge in the field. A methodical approach to solving wear problems is presented. In this method, four elements are pinpointed and described, namely, knowledge of wear, analyses of wear problems, areas of solutions and development and testing of solutions. The work of solving wear problems is related to the practical work of developing and designing products.
