摘要：
The female of Paraugaptilus indicus sp. n. from the south-western part of the Indian Ocean is described. The new species is related to P. mohri Bjornberg. The characteristic features of P. indicus are: the rostrum is present as a plate with two filaments, the second endopodite segment of the antenna II with two setae in its middle, the fifth legs with the lobes and with a long external and a short internal setae.
